I'm double-majoring in Strategic Communication and Communication Design at Elon University, with a minor in Psychology.
I was born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, which shaped how I view communication, culture, and connection. Growing up bilingual in Spanish and English, and later studying abroad in Switzerland, where I learned German and strengthened my French, gave me a global lens that guides how I think about audiences, storytelling, and strategy.
I've had many opportunities on campus to strengthen my skills in a professional setting. I've contributed to Alpha Xi Delta's Communications team, Elon University's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), all things marketing and logistics at El Centro, and the Communications Fellow program at Elon University.
I enjoy bringing my perspective, structure, and research to creative ideas and making sure every project is grounded in purpose, audience awareness, and cultural context.
I've also developed my leadership skills and professional experience through positions as a summer associate at Mikeworldwide, an account executive at Live Oak Communications, an integrated Communications Intern at Burlington Animal Services, and through The Plank Center & The Grossman Group's EMERGE Leadership Academy.
Across these roles, I've worked on social media management, Brand Strategy, client communications, campaign planning and launches, Public and media relations, visual design, strategic writing in various formats, and event planning.
Outside of my professional work, I love to travel, explore new places, and experience different cultures. I also enjoy cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and playing pickleball.
At the center of everything I do is a love for connection, whether that's between people, brands & audiences, or ideas & visuals. Every project in this portfolio reflects how I think, what I value, and my passion for combining strategy and creativity.
Throughout my work, you will find a variety of pieces across different disciplines centered on strategy, Research, planning, and design.
